The Dredging & Rock Removal project was contract #8 Reach B as part of the Delaware River Main Channel Deepening.  The overall project is part of the Delaware River Federal Navigation Channel which reaches from Philadelphia Harbor to Delaware Bay, a partnership between USACE and Philadelphia Regional Port Authority.

Dredging is located from the Eddystone Range to the Marcus Hook Range of the Delaware River.  Material is both mechanically dredged and loaded into scows for off-site disposal or the use of controlled underwater blasting is applied to break up hard rock and disposed offsite.

TITAN performed quality control management for this project. In addition TITAN handled reviewing, scheduling, certifying and managing the submittals through the 3-Phase process of inspection.

Procedures for tracking preparatory, initial, and follow-up control phases; control, verification, and acceptance tests including documentation.

Coordination of project logistics, materials and equipment

Managing the day-to-day quality control activities

Kept designated personnel and management staff apprised of status of work

Ensured all reports were prepared and submitted in accordance with the QC Plan, including the Daily Quality Control Report and through the QCS/RMS system.

Maintained all the project quality control files.

Reported and logged any work not meeting Spec requirements.

Recorded all data in QCS database.
