BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Project called for maintenance dredging of Lake Montauk Harbor, New York, Federal Navigation Project. Sand was dredged from the channel and deposition basin and placed along the adjacent beach to the west of the west jetty. Approximately 45,000 cubic yards of sand was removed from Lake Montauk Harbor. Dredging was required to a depth of -14 feet Mean Lower Low Water plus 2 feet of allowable over depth.
