BRIEF DESCRIPTION
This shoal removal involved dredging non-rock materials. Suitable non-rock materials were placed at the HARS (Historic Area Remediation) site. Unsuitable non-rock materials were placed upland at a soil cleaning and disposal facility. This project was located in an active navigation channel and used a cable-arm clam-shell dredge with a 26 cubic yard bucket. Six scows and two tugs moved the possibly contaminated materials to the HARS and upland.
TITAN performed quality control and site safety. In addition TITAN handled reviewing, scheduling, certifying and managing the submittals through the 3-Phase process of inspection.

Recorded all data in QCS database.
