MAINTENANCE DREDGING – MATANZAS INLET, FL

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The Matanzas Dredging project was to dredge nearly 185,200 cubic yards of material from Reach I of the Intracoastal Waterway (ICWW) in Flagler County, Florida.

This maintenance dredging work included excavation of the Intracoastal Waterway channel to an elevation of -14-ft mean lower low water. All dredged material was offloaded at a district-owned 44 plus acre dredged material management area (DMMA) located in Palm Coast, Florida.

Even though Hurricane Dorian came very close to this particular location, Southwind Construction lost very little time.

Titan Provided a Project Safety (SSHO) and Quality Control (Quality Control Manager) to this project.
